»flee, you times. that’s it: the piece for the hour. fear, decay, isolation are shown in the new choreography of the cie. toula limnaios. the stage world is dystopian, in which the characters wander around like those already lost in search… when one of the dancers finally steps on the bodies of his colleagues as if they were mere flesh, you can’t help shuddering.« (tanzraumberlin.de/ elena philipp, 2016)

in ›tempus fugit‹ the cie. toula limnaios remain on the trail of time. deeply embedded therein is the all too human desire for happiness. nietzsche saw it embodied in a grazing herd of animals, living entirely in the now – a state, which he envied them for, having neither past nor future. in ›tempus fugit‹, seven dancers continually move as a group, as a flowing unit. propelled forward by an inner unison, they produce an all-embracing tide. a round dance like a single shared movement nevertheless at moments revealing the individual.
